We are delighted to offer for sale this rare version of the early issue London Routemaster Bus.
Note the promotional transfers for ‘The London Motor Show 1972’ and ‘The Commercial Motor Show 1972’ at the sides – thankfully complete throughout (very minor wear). Note too the destination (Earls Court). Small scuff to the rear label.
Yellow and clear plastic stairs. Bright detailed cast wheels with suspension. Well-shaped original late issue tyres with ‘Corgi Toys’ embossed. Conductor and driver. Ribbed roof, jewelled headlights. Occasioanl tiny mark to the paint finish. Light wear to the ‘Corgi Classics’ labels.
The card and cellophane box has intact original cellophane. Bright colours save for one end flap which ahs some fading. Remains of a label on the front surface and a small area of surface loss. Minor age/handling wear.
