Corgi Toys 405 Chevrolet-Superior 61 Ambulance
Chevrolet-Superior 61 Ambulance by Corgi Toys, No. 405. Very, very near mint/boxed. From The Wesley Lodge Collection.
Notes
A detailed, larger scale Corgi Ambulance made between 1978-80, obviously unused with a fresh bright orange and white finish, perfect ‘Ambulance’, ‘Red Cross’ and ‘Emergency’ labels, gleaming chrome and intact red roof light. Opening rear doors, reveal a detailed interior. Nice example complete with stretcher, patient and attendant.
Virtually mint.
The long slim window box has had minimal handling and has been carefully stored, so the cellophane is intact and there is none of the usual ruffling/tearing at end flaps. The rather complicated card insert is complete, clean and crisp. Little ruffle caused by the roof light.
Especially difficult to find these larger cellophane-fronted boxes in such fine condition.
