Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This early Indian Dinky Toy, the Plymouth Fury Sports model, is finished in a light sky blue shade with a lemon interior, black tonneau and both seated figures. One-piece plastic wheel and tyre construction. Tinplate base. Opening bonnet with engine detail. Silver trim.
Headlights. Two white plastic aerials.
Barely a mark to the paint finish. Stray factory dab of silver near the rear bumper.
Plain white card box is complete. Correct with ATAMCO P LTD. Calcutta stamped.
