Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This particular example is an extremely difficult find in bright pea green, mid- tan interior, both seated figures, black tonneau.
Note there are no aerials.
No ‘Dinky Toys’ on base, but ‘PLYMOUTH FURY’ present. Label.
Shiny spun wheels and black treaded tyres. Opening bonnet with engine detail. Silver trim.
Barely a mark to the paint finish.
Colourful card box presents well with vivid colours. A little of the usual age/handling wear (a heavy model stored in a comparatively flimsy box).
