Notes
Sought-after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This ‘E’ Type Jaguar model is a very difficult find – finished in bright yellow with an intact detachable black hood and a cream soft top. Intact original windscreen. One-piece wheels/tyres.
A few little marks to the paint finish.
Partly obliterated ‘Dinky’ lettering on the baseplate. Original lettering ‘Jaguar ’E’ Type visible. No reference to the Indian manufacturer made on the base.
The box (to Nicky toys standard) is fine – complete, clean and with a crisp feel to the card. Light wear only. Very nice!
