Dinky Toys 290 Double Deck Bus 'DUNLOP'
Double Deck Bus 'DUNLOP' by Dinky Toys, No. 290. Very near mint/boxed. From The Ground Crew Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1959-61 with a type 3 Leyland grille, this classic Dinky bus presents well with a lustrous original vibrant red and cream paint finish, matching bright red, cast wheels and original smooth, well-shaped tyres. ‘Dunlop – The World’s Master Tyre’ lettering is virtually perfect-perfect on both sides:
Few tiny marks to the paint finish and a very small light scratch low down on one side.
The bright yellow picture box is crisp and fresh-looking with strong colours. Correct colour spot for this version. Little corner crumple.
