Dinky Toys 159 Morris Oxford Saloon
Morris Oxford Saloon by Dinky Toys, No. 159. Very, very near mint/boxed. Green & cream issue. Scarce. From The Ground Crew Collection.
Notes
A classic Dinky model issued just during 1954 with a lustrous green and cream paint finish, green hubs, bright baseplate.
Obviously unplayed-with and carefully handled, this fine model presents very well.
The pictorial card box is crisp and bright with a couple of blue-ish patches and a couple of small rubbed areas on an end flap. Slightly early for this two-tone colour model.
Green colour spot at the end flaps (more usually for the single colour issue). Slight rubbing at one end flap, and blue staining on one picture surface. Shopkeeper’s price at an end flap.
