Corgi Toys 435 Superman Van & 2 Jerry Fisher Trial versions

A fascinating trio of Corgi Superman Van models and a little piece of Corgi history.

1) Production issue of the metallic silver finish Chevrolet Van with perfect highly-detailed Superman labels on both sides. Memorable ‘flying’ image of Superman with one arm outstretched. Bright four spoke wheels and amber tinted windows on the roof. Highly detailed interior.

In completely unused condition. Does not appear to have ever been removed from its pristine header card box. Uncreased header card.

It may be necessary to carefully open the box in order to ensure safe transit to the new owner.

The owner informs us:

2) Jerry Fisher (importer for Corgi at Reeves International in the US).
This trial version of the Chevrolet Van has SUPERVAN (not Superman) lettering at the sides and Superman is flying (different image to the production version) with the familiar graphic ‘POW’ near his fist. Apparently this image was dropped for the production issue since it feared it was promoting violence. This is merely anecdotal however.

3) As above but the Corgi Junior version. Also, never issued with these images at the sides.
