Corgi Toys 208M Jaguar 2.4 Litre Saloon

Notes
Issued between 1957-60, this is an all original example in vibrant metallic Peacock Blue with flat spun wheels and a difficult find with a grey baseplate.
It is contemporary with other late issue mechanicals. Grey base paint appears to be a 1960 feature. It cannot be a coincidence that the only 3 models that ran in to 1960 are the Thunderbird, Austin and this one. All other models terminating in 1959 have black bases.
Working fly wheel motor.
Occasional tiny mark.
The early powder blue box is such a bright and clean example. Crisp. Period shop price label. With Corgi Club Membership Form.
