Dinky Toys 57/006 Rambler Classic
Rambler Classic by Dinky Toys, No 57/006. Hong Kong Dinky. Assumed mint/boxed. So scarce - especially in this NEVER OPENED EXPORT BOX, with ALL CARD SECTIONS intact. From The Wesley Lodge Collection. Recommend personal pick up. Starting bid £150. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
One of the small range of Dinky models made in Hong Kong between 1965-67. Highly attractive 1:42 scale model.
A rare find in this virtually pristine, unopened Export Box, and particularly difficult to find with the ‘Dealer Strip’, too.
Finished in a distinctive shade of mid-green, ivory interior. Suspension is fine on three wheels (not present on front passenger-side – common fault). Matt baseplate, shiny chrome spun wheels.
Paint finish is assumed mint.
Fresh, clean and complete delicate export box is surely one of the finest you will ever see!
A difficult version to find.
Personal collection is recommended at convenient meeting place or can be sent at new owner’s risk – although everything will be done to minimise the chance of damage.
