An eye-catching Ford ‘SNCF’ model finished in bright mid-blue with a darker blue tinplate tilt. Virtually complete – complete detailed transfers “Socièté National Des Chemins De Fer Francais” on both sides, black ridged wheels, ‘M’ embossed tyres, button-ended axles. 2nd issue with a separate tow hook.
A wonderful model on display.
Pleasing lustre to the paint finish. Fine tinplate tilt.
Occasional little mark to the paint finish. Small part-thickness black paint smudged over a chip near the letter ‘F’ on one side. One tyre has a flat spot.
Never individually boxed, but sold from a shopkeeper’s trade box.
