This rare Gift Set was made for a short period between 1952-54 ( later issued under the numbering 398).
A difficult set to source in any condition, this set comprises:
1)Dinky 300 Massey-Ferguson Tractor. Correct early issue with metal stack and yellow metal wheels throughout. Complete with metal driver. In very near mint condition with a few little marks to the finish.
2)Dinky 320 Harvest Trailer in very near mint condition with yellow metal wheels and a small grey metal jockey wheel. Two metal raves.
3) Dinky 27C Manure Spreader in close to mint condition with the occasional little mark and minute scrutiny finds two small touch-ins. Nice bright silver and red finish and yellow metal wheels.
4)Dinky 322 Disc Harrow in very near mint condition.
5)Dinky 27G Motocart in very near mint condition with a fawn metal driver and red metal whees.
The distinctive striped DINKY TOYS card box is sound, bright and complete. Excellent condition.
Seam repair to one corner and a little age/handling wear besides.
Vivid blue card insert with printed details and formed cut-out pieces has light wear/marking from the models.
Still presents nicely – and such a difficult find!
