This type 2 version of the Petrol Tank Wagon in deep grey and black was issued during 1946. It would have been sent to the shopkeeper in trade boxes, so not individually boxed.
This example presents well with a hard to find deep grey original paint finish and complete and unmarked white ‘POOL’ lettering on both sides (literally ‘pooling’ the petrol resources during the war). Smooth tyres are well-shaped. Black smooth wheels. Complete with a bright and intact radiator and headlight assembly.
Type 2.
Several small chips to the paint finish.
