Superb quality from this collection, this ’POOL" Petrol Tanker has barely seen the light of day:
In very close to mint, unused condition, with POOL transfers intact on both sides and at the rear of the well-shaped tank. Petrol was in short supply during and just post-war. Cooperation between the suppliers meant that rationed petrol stocks were ‘pooled’, so no one brand was highlighted at tanker sides.
