An essential item in your Dinky commercial collection, this Guy van was made during Dinky’s heyday and is part of the sought-after range of advertising vans made during mid-late 1950s.
Issued between 1953-54 before its renumbering to 917.
An early issue with perfect and distinctive transfers on both sides. A few little marks on the red strip low down on one side.
Tiny area of ‘flattened’ paint head-on at the near-side wing (factory). Occasional tiny mark besides. Minute scrutiny reveals the occasional little touch-in at some wheel arches. Bright baseplate has ‘B B’ etched. All tyres are the originals (three have a little flat spot).
The deep blue card box with a paper label is in excellent bright condition. Very small area of surface loss at one lid end. Minor wear besides.
