Notes
Every Corgi collection should have one of these! A bright blue and yellow original paint finish with perfect Corgi transfers with the unmistakable dog logo on both sides. Flat spun wheels and a bright baseplate. As-new original fine tread tyres.
Issued between 1960-62.
Note the daub of cream paint on the base – we have seen Corgi toys of this era from different sources with this mark leading us to assume it was an identifier in the factory or for a Corgi representative back in the day.
This Bedford Van has a day-one lustre to the paint finish with just the occasional minor mark.
The picture box is crisp, complete and clean, showing light wear only.
