Notes
_Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison. This is an early example so still with DINKY TOYS printed on the box and base. _.
This Universal Jeep model is in very close to perfect condition with a distinctive brick red finish and a pleasing lustre. Silver trim. Shiny spun wheels.
Very close to mint paint finish.
Note the original remains of the S. Kumar & CO stamp on the box base.
The early Indian Dinky Toys card box is complete and brightly-coloured. A little wear, including crumpling and a couple of small tears.
