Notes
An impressive Foden Wagon with a wonderfully lustrous all-original finish.
Made between 1952-54, this is the 2nd type cab version with no flash at cab sides. In violet blue finish with a lighter blue back and matching grooved wheels. Presents very nicely with an exceptionally fresh and gleaming paint finish, and even under minute scrutiny, no touch-ins are found.
Well-shaped, grey radial tyres. Bright clean baseplate and metal parts generally including the axle ends.
An honest example, so no surprise that there are a few little marks at some wheel arches.
Bright fresh deep blue box with a complete and vivid paper label.
Showing light handling wear. Faint ‘B’ factory stamp at a short lid end denoting colour of model.
With card packing piece.
A difficult find, especially in this condition.
