Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This Jaguar model is in all original condition with a striking * Kingfisher Blue* finish, fine silver trim, black gloss base with ‘Dinky Toys’ still visible. Off-white interior. Early issue with shiny spun wheels and well-shaped tyres with a fine tread.
In very close to mint condition.
The pictorial card box shows a little age/handling wear at some edges, but all complete and better than most!.
A fascinating piece of Dinky history and well worth incorporating into your collection.
