Issued during 1954 when this model was renumbered to 901, this classic Dinky truck has a 2nd type red cab and chassis, deep fawn back, grooved red Supertoy hubs, large painted hook. Without tanker slits to the underside. Fine lustre to the paint finish throughout:
Upon minute inspection, one may see a few subtle retouches at some wheel arches and a couple elsewhere. Fine lustre throughout with vibrant day-one colours show that this item has been carefully handled and stored.
Original radial tyres are well-shaped.
The dual-numbered striped DINKY TOYS box has bright colours on clean card.
Light wear including a little rubbing at edges. Shelf rubs on the underside. Faintly pencilled ‘80’ on the lid. Rusty staples.
