An appealing group of early issue 1950’s Dinky Farm Produce Wagons.
2 x rare versions in yellow with a green back, with green wheels and the early feature in the casting – side bonnet louvres (later issues did not have this detail).
Condition range near mint plus – very near mint.
Presents well although one has a couple of roof retouches and another at a wheel arch. One light tyre flat spot.
The other example is very near mint.
No numbering on the base.
With shining silver trim, well-shaped smooth original tyres, tow hook and bright base.
4 x early versions in green with yellow backs and early feature casting (bonnet louvre details, not present on later issues).
Occasional mark to the paint finish at vulnerable points. Occasional retouch may be seen under very close scrutiny. 3 x near mint plus, one very near mint. Couple of minor tyre flat spots.
Bright yellow lift-off lid Trade Box has no graffiti (unless you count a period pencilled price on a short lid end). No repairs. Couple of storage scuffs and a couple of small areas of surface loss. Light wear besides.
