Notes
This collection represents a lifelong deep appreciation of Dinky Toys, Britains models, Minic models and more primarily from the 1940’s & 50’s. All British made diecast and tinplate models. Proceeds going to charities close to his heart.
One of the most endearing Dinky models! It has been a long time since we have offered one of these scarce early Austin Seven models complete with intact wire windscreen frame for sale. Finished in mid-blue, with original silver detail steering wheel, and smooth black rubber wheels.
Issued in various colours between 1938-40. Later issues did not have the wire frame detail.
Very near mint.
Never individually boxed – this model would have been sold out of a shopkeeper’s trade box supplied by Dinky at the time.
