Notes
Dated 1952 from the Dinky stamp on one side of the bright yellow Dinky Trade Box, these jewel-bright simple, early Dinky Toy cars are an enticing sight.
Originally this Trade Box would have held 6 Midget Saloon, now 4 are present as follows:
1) Canary yellow version. Very near mint. One piece black rubber wheel/tyres. Silver trim. Couple of minor marks only.
2) Mid-blue in version. Very near mint. One piece black rubber wheel/tyres. Silver trim. Occasional barely visible mark only.
3) Mid-grey version. Very near mint. One piece black rubber wheel/tyres. Silver trim. Occasional tiny mark and a little rough casting on the bonnet.
4) Mid-green version. Near mint plus. One piece black rubber wheel/tyres. Silver trim. Few small chips on the roof edge.
Vivid yellow sleeve-style Dinky Trade Box impresses with strong colours and minimal wear generally. Couple of small thin strips of surface loss. Dinky date stamp (1952).
The original dividers are all present – always a welcome sight.
Rusty staples.
