Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
A fine group of Indian Nicky Dinky Toys as follows:
1) Nicky Dinky Toys, No. 054 Standard Herald Mark II, in vibrant blue, with one-piece wheels/tyres. White seating. Very near mint. Pictorial box has minor age/handling wear.
2) Nicky Dinky Toys 134 Triumph Vitesse, in powder blue, with a red stripe, Very near mint/boxed. Very rare 1st edition.
3) Nicky Dinky Toys 186 Mercedes Benz 220 SE, in non-metallic reddish-brown. Very near mint/boxed. Light box wear.
4) Nicky 295 Standard ’20’ Mini-Bus, in deep green. Very near mint/boxed, with one-piece wheels/tyres. White seating. Pictorial box has barely any wear at all.
5) Nicky 295 Standard ’20’ Mini-Bus, scarce in this coral finish. One-piece wheels/tyres with silver spoke detail. Very near mint/boxed.
6) Nicky 295 Standard ’20‘ Mini Bus in vivid metallic blue. Near mint/boxed. Box has some taping to end flaps.
7) Nicky 405 Universal Jeep. sky blue. With one-piece wheels/tyres. Near mint/boxed. A little age/handling wear.
