Notes
This is an outstanding scarce first type commercial truck in lustrous two tone green. Issued during 1954-55. Early version without triangular lugs at the sides of the number plate and with Dinky Supertoys on the base and no Dinky number on the side of the bed. In fine condition throughout with an attractive sheen to the original paint finish:
The large painted hook has a couple of chips and thereare a couple of marks at the bottom of the cab front head-on which barely detract. A couple of small dots besides. Obviously rarely handled.
The striped Supertoys box is fresh, very clean and bright with minimal wear. Rust at the staples. Shopkeeper’s pencilled price.
Not an easy find in this condition. Excellent investment piece.
