This collection represents a lifelong deep appreciation of Dinky Toys, Britains models, Minic models and more primarily from the 1940’s & 50’s. All British made diecast and tinplate models. Proceeds going to charities close to his heart.
A cache of 6 Dinky 29E Single Deck Buses(1948-52) housed in the original Dinky shopkeeper’s Trade Box as follows:
4 x Single Deck Buses in two-tone green with ridged black wheels. Very near mint condition (close scrutiny finds a few small touch-ins). Well-shaped smooth black tyres (occasional tiny – light flat spot). Silver trim.
1 x cream & mid-blue version with black ridged wheels and smooth black tyres. Very, very near mint.
1 x two-tone blue version with black ridged wheels and smooth black tyres. Near mint plus. Light paint blemish on roof.
The outer buff card Trade Box is sturdy and tear-free. Bright paper label at a lid end and there are period prices pencilled. Lightly penned writing on the lid. With original dividers.
