In close to mint condition, this rare colour version was issued from 1948. 1st type has a distinctive burnt orange finish, bright mid-green back and flash, matching early ridged wheels and fine tread black radial tyres(well-shaped). 20 mph transfer is still in place.
Issued toward the end of the production run, with tank slits and chain post bosses on the underside. Early 1952 issue.
Shiny metal parts, including axle ends. Glossy paint finish presents so well.
Close scrutiny finds a few retouches.
The vibrant blue picture box shows the first type cab variation. Complete bright paper label. Minor wear includes edge rubs etc.
