Notes
This classic early Foden truck has such a fine rich brown matt finish, with a silver flash and black chassis, black original herringbone tyres (well-shaped). Correct that this early issue has no tow hook.
Presents very well indeed. Issued between 1947-48. This high profile classic Dinky impresses with its rich matt brown colour.
Base is complete with spare wheel affixed.
Hrad to find a mark although there is a small touch-in to the paint low down on one front edge of the cab.
The early buff box is brightly-coloured with a complete paper label. Minor wear/grubbiness and at some time clear tape was added to lid corners. With Dinky Quality Control Tag.
These early Foden models are becoming increasingly hard to find.
