This collection represents a lifelong deep appreciation of Dinky Toys, Britains models, Minic models and more primarily from the 1940’s & 50’s. All British made diecast and tinplate models. Proceeds going to charities close to his heart.
A selection of 6 x Dinky Toys 29C Buses, 1st types, with cut-away grilles, black wheels, no staircase from 1946, as follows:
1 x deep green and grey with ridged black wheels and original, well-shaped smooth tyres. Very near mint.
2 x as above. Near mint plus. Barely a mark to the paint, although a few small touch-ins may be seen under close scrutiny.
2 x scarlet red and grey version. Ridged black wheels and smooth black tyres (light flat spot). Near mint. Few small touch-ins may be seen under close scrutiny.
1 x as above but excellent plus. Note the number 12 has been lightly penned to below cab window.
With original card dividers.
Sturdy buff Dinky Trade Box has a complete and bright informative paper label at a short lid end. Period pencilled price. Neatly penned ‘51’ on lid.
