Notes
A lifelong collector, Denis Tyler, now passes the baton to the next generation of collectors.
With proceeds from the sale of his collection going to the charities that he loved.
This Beetle Lorry was issued in 1946 and has a deep khaki finish with roof and doors painted to simulate canvas. With metal wheels and well-shaped original tyres. Driver. Tow hook.
Just a small chip at an exposed edge which is easily overlooked.
The box has retained its vibrancy and freshness; rarely handled and carefully stored. Tiny edge nick to the paper label at a short lid end.
Inside you will find the corrugated card packing piece.
