Corgi 1138 Ford Articulated Transporter "CORGI CARS". Very near mint/boxed (but Corgi panel on one side has been over-painted), with internal card packing piece & packing sleeve. From The QDT Vault.
Notes
This popular Corgi model was made between 1966-69.
Finished in original blue, red & palest blue upper ramp. Cast wheels.
With both wing mirrors (including the reflective pieces), ladders at the side of the cab and roof horns. Bright silver side panel with Corgi dog logo on one side and black labels at rear are complete. With all four red plastic chocks.
Note that one side panel has been over-painted at some time and partial loss to the chrome finish at this site.
Occasional minor mark to the paint finish.
The card stand on which the transporter sits, is completecrisp, fresh and very bright. No wheel slot tears.
Plenty of information on the box reverse.
The pictorial end flap box is complete, clean and brightly-coloured. Very minor wear.
