Notes
This is such an eye-catching Dinky commercial made during 1953-56. A sought-after Dinky model with a vibrant deep red paint finish, 2nd type cab, black ladder and black filler caps. None of the usual corrosion to the well-shaped tinplate tank. Crisp lettering and logo has the occasional tiny nick. Well-shaped original black radial tyres.
Paint finish is very nearly mint – and notably, there are no touch-ins!
The striped dual-numbered picture box has a little age/handling wear only. Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this particular example from 1954.
