Notes
A desirable Gift Set and a difficult find in any condition, this nostalgic set comprises:
1) 260 Royal Mail Van in very close to mint condition. Presents well with a pleasing lustre. Royal Mail lettering and crest at both sides are complete on one side, virtually complete on the other. Baseplate is bright. Well-shaped original tyres.
2) 261 Post Office Telephones Van is in close to mint condition. Lettering and crest are complete on both sides. MInor dulling/tarnishing to the baseplate. Well-shaped original tyres. Tiny marks to the paint finish in one small area.
3) 750 Telephone Box has a gleaming bright red and silver paint finish. In very close to mint condition with a small scratch on the roof.
4) 011 Messenger & 012 Postman have vibrant original colours and are very close to mint.
Pictorial card outer box is brightly-coloured and free of graffiti. A little age and handling wear and residue from the old tape that kept the lid closed. Small area of surface loss and a little repair due to a paper surface tear on a short lid end. Box base is deep blue although note another area of surface loss probably caused by tape at some time.
Pictorial insert is bright, fresh and compete. Minor wear and a very small tear.
