Notes
In close to mint condition, this Taunus Transit model is finished in white with ’SNITTS" promotional labels at the sides. After research, we believe it to be a period advertisement with this distinctive logo for a brand of children’s Swedish shampoo, circa 1969. A rare promotional variation with complete bright labels on both sides.
This Swedish promotion from 1969 offers a free Tekno model once the shampoo has been used.
Here is the translation from Swedish:
‘And you can get a nice Ford Tekno Model car. You’ve tried the shampoo, just send in the collar that sits on the bottle and 3 Kroner in stamps… and label the envelope SHAMPOO CAR’
_A remarkable find! _Note the distinctive cat image above the letter ‘I’ (KATZY).
