In homage to the golden age of Dinky!

Finished in brilliant gloss red with complete and intact decorative transfers on both sides. Mint transfers. Wonderfully vibrant, unfaded paint finish throughout. Bright base. Well-shaped smooth original tyres.

A note of caution!

This model we believe was made by a skilled craftsman, and he was responsible for at least one other high profile model i.e. the Dinky Omnisports Van which has convinced many that it is an original rarity. He has come as close as one can reasonably get to ‘perfecting the art of creating a rare Dinky Toy’ to excite the collector and to beguile the unwitting.
We believe that Dinky considered making this particular version at the time, although it never came to fruition.

The striped plain Dinky Supertoys box continues the story. Clean and brightly-coloured throughout. The print at the short lid end looks most convincing too. Wear and a seam split.
