Nicky Dinky Toys 142 Jaguar Mark X Saloon
Jaguar Mark X Saloon by Indian Nicky Dinky Toys, No. 142. Very, very near mint/boxed, with luggage. From A Phenomenal Collection.
Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
Scarce. This is a virtually mint Jaguar Mark X model finished in a distinctive caramel shade with off-white interior, black steering wheel. With one-piece wheels/tyres.
Gloss base with ‘Nicky Toys’ on the base, no product number but ‘Jaguar Mark X’ lettering present.
With piece of luggage.
The Nicky Toys box (ATAMCO P LTD. Calcutta) has a little of the usual wear that is so often found with these boxes, which includes a small scuff on a non-picture side.
