Nicky Dinky Toys 113 MGB Sports
MGB Sports by Nicky Dinky Toys, No. 113. DEEP PINK version with yellow ochre interior. Excellent/boxed. Nice box. Rare issue! From The Phenomenal Collection.
Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
A rare issue finished in a distinctive deep pink shade with a yellow ochre interior, blue driver, intact steering wheel and windscreen. Silver and black plastic one-piece tyres/wheels.
A very scarce MGB model.
Shiny black base has pitting.
The colourful correct box (ATAMCO P LTD. Calcutta) is a pleasing example (for this range). Colourful and clean – and free of the usual heavy wear that plague these comparatively flimsy boxes. Crips and fresh-looking.
