Dinky Toys 105 Triumph TR2 Sports
Triumph TR2 Sports by Dinky Toys, . 105. Touring finish. Grey. Scarce TRANSITION issue with red cast wheels, but black plastic steering wheel & traded tyres. Very, very near mint/boxed. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
First issued in 1957, this sports model has a virtually perfect paint finish, a bright base and the smooth original tyres run well.
Very nice indeed!
A more difficult version to find – this is a transition issue bearing both early and later features; red acast weeks (early) black plastic steering wheel (late), black treaded tyres (late). Shiny tinplate base.
The picture box is complete and bright with the correct colour spot at the end flaps. Very minor wear.
