Issued towards the end of the production run in this eye-catching bright metallic blue finish with a black roof. Small dark green rollers and light green base. This particular variation is a very scarce find.
An obviously unused example in very close to pristine condition, complete and authentic throughout. Complete ‘SHADO 2’ labels on both sides. Bright silver firing mechanism. Inspired by the Gerry Anderson UFO t.v. series, this model has a flip over roof mechanism which reveals a formidable rocket just waiting to be fired!
Few marks to the metallic blue finish at an exposed edge or two. Bright and clean two-piece polystyrene packing.
The window box with header card is complete and brightly-coloured. Intact original cellophane window. Unpunched header card. Bearing in mind the weight of the model and the comparatively flimsy condition of this type of box, this example has fared better than most! A little light handling wear.
