Inspired by Gerry Anderson’s t.v. series Joe 90, this is an impressive example with a bright metallic green finish and gleaming chrome engines. Opening wings and extending tail fins. Note this is the version without white detail at the rear wing edges. Suspension on all four wheels. Battery powered engine exhaust (untested). Jewelled headlights.
Clean, bright and intact card base has a small area of surface loss at one side edge & underside. Period penned price on the underside. Bubble top packing is notably complete, intact, supple and clear. So many aren’t!
Nice accompaniment – the 1969 Dinky Toys colour catalogue with Joes’ Car pictured on the cover. Virtually mint – mint condition.
