Notes
A rare find. This Double-Decker Bus has a glossy red finish, with upper deck surround in cream. Very nearly complete-complete ‘FROG FLYING MODELS & PENGUIN SCALE MODELS’ & ‘PEDIGREE PRAMS’ advertisements at the sides, complete ‘Tri-ang’ transfer at the rear. ‘Mitcham’ destination with registration LBL 174. Complete ‘LONDON TRANSPORT’ lettering at the sides.
Working clockwork function. Wooden seating. Grey wheels. Smooth original black tyres are well-shaped, except for one which has a flat spot. Shiny radiator and headlight assembly generally.
A beautiful period display piece:
Most unusual box presentation. This lift-off lid box comes in pale blue with decorative, colourful details and a complete paper label on the lid. A little age wear includes expected rubbing at edges etc.
