A pleasing cache of 4 x Dinky 25R 420 Forward Control Lorries all safely stowed in the bright yellow Dinky shopkeeper’s Trade Box:
1) Bright mid-green finish and a most unusual find with green ridged wheels. Silver trim. Near mint with a few retouches. ‘420’ on base. All smooth original tyres are well-shaped.
2) Matt cream version with black ridged wheels in near mint plus condition. No base number. All smooth original tyres are well-shaped. Occasional dot retouch may be found upon closest scrutiny.
3) Bright red with cream ridged wheels. ‘25R’ stamped. All smooth original tyres are well-shaped. Very near mint.
4) Mid-brown with green wheels. Very near mint. No number on base. All smooth original tyres are well-shaped. Very near mint.
Bright yellow lift-off lid Dinky Trade Box is dual-numbered (from 1954). Clear informative print at both short lid ends. Light wear, small stain and remains of the old tape which kept the lid closed.
Replacement dividers for ease of storage have been added at some time.
