Trade Box 1 x Dinky Toys 39E Chrysler Royal Sedan
Chrysler Royal Sedan by Dinky Toys, No. 39E. Near mint plus/in original Trade Box with dividers. Bright mid-blue with blue wheels. Made for one year only (1950). From The esteemed Spa-Francorchamps Collection. QDT starting bid £200. Please note that QDT apply 12.5% buyer's commission.
Notes
This original Dinky Trade Box contains a rare late post war Dinky car, not often seen in this distinctive bright mid-blue finish with matching blue wheels.
Several small retouches to the gleaming blue finish. Baseplate is shiny and the tyres are well-shaped.
Never individually boxed, but supplied from this Dinky shopkeeper’s trade box. Plain buff card with a complete informative paper label at one short lid end. Shiny staples. Card is quite ‘soft’ and in storage, a small split in the lid has occurred (no parts missing). Note too that one lid corner has a split. Nice to see that this example is complete with the original dividers.
