This collection represents a lifelong deep appreciation of Dinky Toys, Britains models, Minic models and more primarily from the 1940’s & 50’s. All British made diecast and tinplate models. Proceeds going to charities close to his heart.
This buff Dinky Trade Box with a bright yellow label contains just one Dinky 34B Royal Mail Van from 1948-51:
Red version with black bonnet, roof and wings and with black ridged wheels, silver trim & a filled in rear window. Smooth tyres are well-shaped. Very near mint.
Buff Trade Box has a bright and complete yellow paper label. No tears or repairs. The word ‘VANS’ is faintly pencilled in large lettering on the lid. Light age wear besides. Remains of the original tape which kept the lid closed.
