Bought new and stored away until now, a stash of classic Corgi models has just come into stock from Texas.
This car has a vivid purple finish, made by Corgi between 1970-72 only. James Bond enthusiasts may recognise that this car finished in white was released to co-incide with the film ‘You Only Live Twice’.
This example is in very close to mint condition with one little (probably assembly) mark at the side of a rear jewelled light and the usual marks at the rear over-riders. Bright jewelled lights at the front too, as well as the original aerial, intact windscreen, and a detailed interior.
The box is complete, clean and bright with intact original smooth cellophane. A minor corner crumple and the original shopkeeper’s price has been removed leaving an area of surface removal.
