Notes
Part of a one owner from new collection just in; the owner of these fine Dinky commercials was born in Wimbledon London, in 1937. Removed from the attic recently after storage for over 50 years.
Issued 1946-49. Sleek original silver finish on the Avro New York Air Liner complete with ’G-A GJC lettering on the wings. Red propellers are intact and all present, secured with silver pins (early feature) and note the light blue colour detail to the cockpit (also an early feature).
Minor marking to the paint finish.
Intact early buff card box with a very nearly complete bright yellow informative paper label at a lid side. Light wear only to the box. Water stain on the top surface (due to a cup placed there many years ago we expect!).
