According to an ex-employee of Ford who was involved in the ordering of this maize yellow or mustard issue from Corgi, this model was commissioned at the time of the launch of the real car. These maize models were made just prior to the standard release colours which ran from 1970-73.
Maize yellow promotional/export issue. Right-hand drive issue.
In very close to mint condition.
With figure of Graham Hill. Spoked detail Whizzwheels with suspension.
Just a very faint rub at a rear bumper.
Red and yellow window box is complete and bright. With ‘WHIZZWHELLS’ on box reverse. A little label residue and a small fleck of surface loss on an end flap. Original cellophane is notably intact.
Card inner has a small tear on one end.
With clear thin plastic packing piece.
Not an easy find.
