Notes
This two-piece Gift Set from Corgi is always popular with collectors. This set comprises:
a) Corgi 1128 Priestman Cub Shovel. In very close to mint condition with barely a mark. Intact original black rubber tracks. Complete ‘Priestman Cub’ transfer at the side. Mechanism for raising and lowering the jib works well. Cab containing driver is glazed.
b) Corgi 1131 Bedford TK Machinery Carrier. In close to mint condition, with both wing mirrors, and notably both the little reflective ‘mirror’ pieces. Black detachable rear axle and moveable ramps. Shiny shaped spun hubs. Well-shaped tyres look as-new. Bright metal parts. Complete with both spare tyres.
Note the silver-grey back has some minor marking/discolouration caused by prolonged contact with the black rubber tracks. Not visible, of course, when the item is in situ.
Box base is made of polystyrene and is very fresh and bright with light blue Corgi Toys lettering. Close to shop-fresh.
The colourful pictorial lid is complete, clean and fresh-looking. Very light wear.
Year of issue 1963.
