A remarkable Corgi Cortina from this collector! Once seen, never forgotten. The production version of Corgi 491 Ford Consul Super Estate Car would be finished in a range of colours, all with the brown and cream side panels, but with a single colour body finish of red, graphite grey or blue. This colour trial in vibrant metallic green including the base is a unique find.
Riveted base.
Shaped spun wheels. Fine original tyres.
A tiny casting mark on the roof and a small scratch to the plastic insert on one side. Chrome is shiny and unrubbed. Paint finish gleams!
