Notes

This is the rarer late version with windows and plastic hubs. It comprises:
1) Dinky 688 Field Artillery Tractor, in very near mint condition with spare wheel and tow hook. Military green finish, brightest baseplate. Squadron markings. Mint. Plastic wheels.
2) Dinky 687 Trailer or Limber, in virtually mint, as-made condition with a little paint miss at an edge and a little rustines at the axle ends. Brightest baseplate and the axles themselves are so shiny!. Not even the expected chip at the tow ring on this one! Plastic wheels.
3) Dinky 686 25-Pounder Field Gun, in very near mint condition with a couple of minor rubs at an exposed edge and a little chip at the tow ring. Plastic wheels.

The attractive pictorial box is very fresh, clean and bright, although it does have one of the little tuck -in parts of one end flap missing ( and so a copy has been made and attached). Correct for this late issue, this box still presents very well indeed with scarcely any age wear at all.
